Mac or PC?

Some people may try to convince you that Apple Macs are inherently better than Windows PCs for anything involving graphics or photos, but this is simply not true.  In fact both are equally as good, since they both run on the same i7 Quad-core processors, and both use the same type of memory, so there's no particular advantage between them.  The only real difference are in cosmetic appeal, available software and price.  Macs do look very pretty, possibly an important consideration if you live in a designer home, but they are very expensive.  A Windows PC of similar specification to any given iMac will be considerably cheaper, have a much wider range of available software, and be much easier to upgrade.

It's been twenty-five days now since I switched over to a Mac from a PC. So far, I've been loving it.

Initially, I debated picking between the Macbook Pro 13-inch and the Macbook Air 13-inch. It was a difficult decision to make. I had to consider everything I will be using it for. The MBP would have really met my needs; but with rumors of a new MBP coming out in the market very soon, I decided to just pick the MBA.

Ricky said if the next MBP upgrade would not be to my liking, I could keep this MBA for myself. However, if it would be a better MBP, then he'd keep this for himself and we'd get the new one for me.
